Other Airlines Carefully Scrutinize IFEs following sr111 tragedy
"Due to regulatory interpretations and the scrutiny of IFE as potential contributors in several incidents and accidents, replacing this equipment no longer is easy," Bocsy adds. "NetJets is attempting to influence the IFE manufacturers to have better plans to support in-service equipment as quickly as possible, with considerations given to certification and the economics involved.
