Swiss denies takeover

Switzerland's national airline, Swiss, has denied newspaper reports that the carrier has held talks about a possible takeover by its German competitor, Lufthansa.
The "SonntagsZeitung" said it had three valid sources confirming a bid by Swiss chairman Pieter Bouw to find a buyer for his ailing company.
The newspaper said Bouw had also made a similar approach to British Airways.
