It is with great sorrow that I report that Patrick Price, aircraft wiring expert died on 7/21. He was in ill health prior to his death but we are shocked and very saddened to hear this. He sent me a lot of very good information over the past 31/2 yrs. since the sr111 tragedy and will be sadly missed. He devoted his years following his retirement from boeing to being an excellent and knowledgeable aircraft safety expert. My sympathy to his friends and family. Barbara

The Aircraft Wire Arc Tracking website is still available in the internet archives. The Internet Archive WayBackMachine is building a digital library of Internet sites and other cultural artifacts in digital form. Like a paper library, it provides free access to researchers, historians, scholars, and the general public. At least in this way, the work that Patrick Price did will not be lost. Thank you Christopher for posting that link. It is a shame to see all of his work and effort disappear so quickly. This link at least gives one access to information he posted through '01. Patrick Price was certainly devoted to air safety. Barbara

Patrick Price was a safety advocate until the end. Here is his final post on the Valujet memorial site that he wrote on July 19th (just two days before his death), in response to some tasteless messages. http://www.flight592.com/Flight592Discussion-Current/_disc10/00000192.htm
