On 10/10 Air Canada, flight 790, an Airbus A320-211 aircraft was on the ground at Los Angeles International airport and prior to departure to Toronto, smoke came from the cabin entertainment/video system and a strong smell of electrical smoke was reported in the cabin. The circuit breaker for the system was pulled. The VSCU was replaced by the maintenance crew and they then approved the system as serviceable.
