Plane scare at Dublin airport

A Delta airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing at Dublin airport this afternoon. Flight DL071 was travelling from Rome to Atlanta with 260 passengers on board when fumes were noticed in the cockpit. The pilot of the MD-11 requested permission to make an emergency landing, and the airport's emergency plan was launched. The plane landed safely at 2:20pm. Crew and passengers were immediately escorted to the main terminal, and the aircraft is currently being checked by engineers. There were no injuries.
