Airliner makes Tokyo emergency landing 52 minutes ago TOKYO - An Air Canada flight en route to Vancouver from the Shanghai made an emergency landing at Tokyo's Narita airport Sunday after hitting turbulence, and four flight attendants were injured, the airline said. ADVERTISEMENT The Air Canada Flight 38 carrying 190 passengers landed safely at Narita International Airport on Sunday night. "En route our flight encountered severe turbulence. Four of our flight attendants unfortunately sustained injuries, and as a result the flight was diverted to Narita," said Air Canada spokeswoman Angela Mah. Mah said the injured were sent to hospital, but she didn't know the extent of the injuries. No passengers were reported hurt.
